Borussia Dortmund beat Bayer Leverkusen 4-0 on Saturday. Jadon Sancho reflects on his two assists in his 50th Bundesliga appearance.
“It was a well-deserved win,” the 19-year-old told BVBtv after the game, adding: “Obviously, we lost the last game and coming back from the international break, I knew it was going to be a tough game. We kept a strong mindset going into this game and I’m happy to just win.”
The Englishman was not pleased when he found out earlier this week that his FIFA 2020 passing-rating was determined to be only 77.

The club’s own video channel made sure to keep the little marketing ploy alive in cooperation with their sponsor EA, teasing the winger about it after the game.
“I don’t understand the 77 pass-rating. But it’s FIFA. Hopefully, they will change it over time,” he laughed.
It was Sancho’s 50th Bundesliga appearance in which he scored 15 goals and assisted 26. An impressive feat as the player himself realised: “Yeah, that’s crazy! Again, I’m just very happy to be here and playing. I’m just happy that I get an opportunity every week and can show the fans what I can do. The manager shows that he has belief in young players. I’m just happy to be out there, putting my shift in and playing my part.”
