Borussia Dortmund host Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday. The Black and Yellows will have to take on the league leaders without Jadon Sancho due to a disciplinary measure.
According to Ruhr Nachrichten, the 19-year-old returned one day too late from the English national team after the international break. Since the club announced his omission as a “disciplinary measure” one can assume that Sancho is not entirely without fault for his belated return from the Three Lions.
“Jadon is a good kid. He is still very young. Every now and then he is testing the boundaries,” Sporting director Michael Zorc said before kick-off, adding: “And then it’s on us to set those limits. This decision didn’t come easy to us though. His suspension is only for today.”

Dortmund coach Lucien Favre seems to have picked a 3-4-3 formation going into the match. A back-three would be a highly rare occasion under the Swiss manager, who also has to make do without Mario Götze (flu) and Paco Alcácer (muscular problems).
