Thomas Meunier, the 28-year-old Belgian right-back from Paris Saint-Germain, has repeatedly linked with Borussia Dortmund among other European top teams. According to German tabloid Bild, the German outfit are making progress in securing the services of the defender, who will be a free agent in the summer.
Dortmund are on the outlook for a right-back as Polish juggernaut Lukasz Piszczek will turn 35 years old in June and Achraf Hakimi could return to Real Madrid as his two-year loan expires this summer.
Meunier, who is suspended for Wednesday’s Champions League clash between PSG and BVB due to receiving a third yellow in the first encounter, is valued at €30m by Transfermarkt. The right-back would join his fellow Belgian national teammates Thorgan Hazard and Axel Witsel.
The Black and Yellows have also been linked with 23-year-old RB Leipzig right-back Lukas Klostermann and 17-year-old right-back Tomás Esteves from FC Porto.
